Synopsis

Suzuone, known as a “cursed child” who leads kindhearted people astray. A few years ago, the gentle neighborhood priest caught sight of her blood and suddenly turned violent, leaving her with a deep scar across her back. From that day on, she was branded as a “cursed child,” and her debt-ridden family chose to sell Suzuone, not her twin sister, to the notorious “Pleasure District Island.” On the island, she works as a servant, forced to wear a mask that seals her curse, and suffers daily mistreatment. It is then that Yakumo, the head of the powerful conglomerate controlling the seas around the Pleasure District Island, arrives. Rumors swirl that “every courtesan chosen by Yakumo remembers nothing of sharing his bed.” Yet, drawn to Suzuone’s unique “scent,” Yakumo demands to take in the girl abandoned by her own family?!
