Synopsis

Unlucky-in-life Haida signs up for a matching app as part of a “screw‑it self‑improvement campaign.” She gets matched with Kuroi, a guy who also joined the app out of sheer frustration with life. But their conversation never quite lands, and a low, awkward mood hangs over everything. Whatever they do backfires, and the result is a date that is astonishingly not exciting at all. She figures, “With this vibe, there’s no way there’ll be a second date”… and yet somehow, the two of them end up promising to meet again. A first date from a matching app that refuses to heat up, deadpan banter that’s weirdly addictive, and a slow‑burn romance that starts from a completely un-sparkly meet‑up.
