Synopsis

In the year 20XX, Azuma Miyanori (Toki), tormented by an incurable disease, undergoes the world’s first long-term cryogenic process in the hope of awakening in a future where a cure exists. However, when he awakens, what awaits him is a different world where two moons (one large and one small) float in the sky, and servants of an evil god roam the land. Confused after being warmly welcomed by the elf tribe as the “Sacred Hero of Legend”, he decides to embark on a journey to save the world as they ask of him. Faced with this surreal situation, Toki keeps a cool head, thinking that it is a “full-dive virtual reality game.” However, this world hides a shocking truth. Is this a “false world” of virtual reality, or is it truly another world?
