Synopsis

16-year-old Illaen is married to a poor young merchant from a far eastern empire. The newlyweds, whose only name is Aachen, were guided to the honeymoon house that was an old well and collapsing shack with only geese… She was the youngest daughter, who had grown up listening to the horror stories of her in-laws from her older sisters who had married.
