Synopsis

High school student Suo Hayate’s motto is ‘Obedience to any demand, no matter how unreasonable, is the key to survival.’ He spends half his days being bullied. However, after school ends, he is a top-notch national-level fighting gamer.One day, after a struggle against an unknown challenger, Hayate snatches a last minute victory. Immediately, he is engulfed by a bright light from his monitor, accompanied by a mysterious announcement: “Executing Reality Mode.” Since then, he has been able to see the health bars and levels of real people, just like in a game.That afternoon, due to his unlucky nature, Hayate gets entangled with delinquents as he leaves his part-time job. Just when he was about to get beaten up, a game controller appeared in his mind— “If reality is a fighting game… I absolutely can’t lose!”
